Self-Development Advice Is Contextual

Hey my friend,

I wanted to remind you that personal development advice is NOT “one-size-fits-all.”

It’s completely contextual based on your specific personality type…

and your true wants and desires.

Here’s an example:

I just slept for 12 hours.

I went to bed around 11pm last night and I purposefully stayed in bed as long as I wanted to.

It’s 11am right now and I’m still in bed.

and I feel fucking amazing about it.

Then, the first thing I did was grab my phone and look through my notifications.

Notice how this kind of behaviour is completely opposite to traditional “achievement” advice which tells you that you need to wake up early and not check your phone first thing in the morning.

The point is to be radically authentically yourself… to listen to your true desires and to completely ignore others people’s “advice.”

(unless it really resonates with you)

The key that allowed me to unlock this level of radical authenticity is surveying, testing, and combining 100s of different perspectives to see what works for me.

And not getting attached to one “view.”

What’s really been working for me recently is this thing called “human design.”

It’s this radically different personality type system that gives HIGHLY SPECIFIC advice that is completely unique for each individual person.

It helped me identify what “voice” I should listen to inside myself…

For example, since I’m a “splenic projector” that means I should ALWAYS listen to my in-the-moment instinct that is in my body… and to completely ignore my “mind” when making decisions.

Sounds crazy?

It fucking works so well.

A client of mine is a “throat-manifested manifestor” in human design which is completely different.

The advice for her is to use her voice when making decisions.

To literally talk to herself and see how the decision resonates in her body when she says it out loud.

My girlfriend is an “emotional projector” which means she should wait a few hours/days when making big decisions… there is no truth “in the now” for her (which is the complete opposite of me.)

You see,

What I’ve noticed in the personal development space is that people give generic advice that is supposed to apply to all people…

(or just some people who resonate w/ the message)

But very few people have an actual system that determines what advice they should or shouldn’t listen to based on their unique type.

With all this talk about “being your authentic self.”

It can be confusing to know what that actually means.

Our minds are SO CONDITIONED by our childhood upbringings, cultural paradigms, friend groups, media consumption, etc.

that it’s not always easy to know what your authentic self actually is! **

That’s why I’ve personally found it invaluable to have a system such as “human design” to allow me to know more clearly what my authentic way of being actually is…

which also helps as a tool that I used to give more custom-tailored advice for my coaching clients.

If you wanna get started w/ learning about human design and calculating your chart is just recently made a whole video about it…

>> you can check it out here “how human design helped me align w/ my true self“

Also, if you want to save yourself YEARS of frustration, headache, and confusion trying to figure how to live your life in the most authentic and fulfilling way for you

Then shoot me a reply to this email or a DM on Instagram and we can talk about your specific situation, and perhaps go even deeper 😜

Alright, friend! Time for me to go relax and do nothing all day 😀

Peace ✌🏻
