But IÂ wanted to assure you that when I’m saying “God” …
I’m not talking about a bearded man who sits in the clouds…
or a “Christian” God or a “Hindu” God or whatever…
I’m talking about the creative and evolutionary force that runs the universe.
I mean the force that beats your heart… that causes the plants to grow and the birds to chirp… etc.
Scientific folk might say… “that’s evolution!”
and I would reply:
EXACTLY!
If you study every single religious and mystical tradition from all around the world…
(Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Taoism, Jainism, Aboriginal Spirituality, Shamanism, Japanese Shinto, Mesoamerican Religions, Hermeticism, the Occult, Polynesian Religions, etc. etc.)
and you look at the overlapping patterns of all of them.
And then you actually try many of their practices so that you can have direct experience with what they’re trying to point you towards…
then you eventually realize (without doubt) that there is some sort of Divine Force that beats your heart and guides the cosmos.
(Hint: it’s not separate from you and it’s definitely not “out there”)
the idea that I’m trying to point you towards here is that:
Your Authentic Desires Are The Desires Of The Divine
The Divine is literally an evolutionary force that expands upwards and outwards in all directions infinitely.
this is the energy I get when I think of God or the Universe…
I feel this epic tree of branching potentials growing upwards out of my crown and branching infinitely in all directions…
the universe wants to grow and expand… to become better… to increase… more life for all.
this is an important thing to think about and to contemplate…
the universe… wants?
YES!
Desire is the driving force of evolution!
Desire is God’s love of MORE!
In Ancient Greek, this word Eros meant “the evolutionary impulse of the universe” …
and notice how that’s the root word for “erotic.”
So…
your AUTHENTIC DESIRES…
(including your sexual energy)
is the impulse of God to grow and expand to it’s maximum potential!
This is why I like to say that “every niche is self-actualization”
because when you zoom out far enough…
every single person ultimately wants to grow to their fullest potential and to help contribute to that process for others!
Your Highest Excitement
Do you see how this is connecting to the “follow your Highest Excitement” idea that I’ve been sharing a lot on my YouTube channel?
When you dive into your heart on a moment-to-moment basis and genuinely ask yourself:
“What is my absolute HIGHEST EXCITEMENT (that I have the ability to act on) in this moment?”
Wouldn’t it then be wise to then realize that this Highest Desire is actually the Highest Desire of God to grow and evolve through me?
Experiment – Exploring Your Deepest Turn-On
This has the potential to get pretty personal pretty quickly 😅…
so let’s just tread lightly here 🙂
One thing that I realized back in March of this year is that:
your Highest Turn-On (the scene, scenario, or situation that arouses you the MOST)
is also related to your soul’s deepest desire in life.
(I got inspired to explore this idea deeper because of this Teal Swan video. It’s a great video, however I don’t like how she frames your sexual “thing” as always relating to your personal trauma or shadow-side. Of course, that can be related, but I also think it’s much deeper than that which I’ll continue explaining here)
The idea is that you ask yourself:
“What is it that turns me on the MOST?”
and you explore that situation, scene, or scenario deeper… being curious about why.
“What is it specifically about this scene or scenario that is so delicious for me?”
“What is the feeling behind this? How do I feel when I’m in this situation? Why do I like it so much?”
And just give yourself permission to gradually explore that with curiosity and mindfulness…
getting to the heart of your deepest turn-on in life gives you MASSIVE CLUES to what your ultimate soul’s desire actually is.
Teal Swan gives some decent examples so I’ll point you to her video that I linked above…
this can be a very powerful practice for exploring and owning your true desires without shame or guilt…
What if your deepest turn-on is actually the Divine desiring something through you?
Hmmmmmmm. 🤔
…
Also, I wanted to mention that you don’t have to actually act on the desire to explore it.
Oftentimes, holding on to your sexual energy and letting it build within you (without releasing it through ejaculation)
can be an EXTREMELY POWERFUL way to get clear about your true desires in life even quicker!!
(because the kundalini energy then has the chance to move upwards to your higher chakras instead of pooling in the lower ones like it normally does… this allows you to activate your heart, throat, third eye, and crown much quicker and can lead to deep penetrating visions and life-changing insights into the nature of reality… while also making you much more charismatic, attractive, driven, and authentic)
So, I’ll let you explore that one more on your own… and I’ll have to talk about it in more detail in future posts…
Owning Your True Desires
I bet you didn’t expect this email to take that kind of turn 😂
What I want you to take away from this is to trust the energy of your Highest Excitement in-each-moment as a guidance system for unfolding your Highest Potential.
We have so much:
- shame, guilt
- fear of being judged
- feelings of unworthiness
- self-judgement
- old conditions of what is “right” vs “wrong”
- attachments, clingings, needs, traumas
- desire to be loved and respected as “somebody special”
within us…
that it makes it SO DIFFICULT to actually act on what we feel is our Highest Excitement in-each-moment…
so that’s what makes it feel impossible for us to truly be authentic.
And…
what I’m saying here is that when you develop the courage and the faith to be your true authentic self and to act on your genuine Heart’s desires in-each-moment of your life…
WITHOUT worrying so much about what the outcome is going to be… trusting that your Highest Desires is God moving through you…
that’s actually it’s own spiritual path.
I sort of had to realize this on my own…
but this whole thing that I’m telling you about “being authentic.”
This isn’t just some trendy gimmick…
This is the entire purpose of the Universe.
When you “be authentic” …
that’s like you surrendering to God… trusting that you were made perfectly.
The natural way that you are is so beautiful, so intelligent, so resourceful, and so loving…
that when you finally realize it…
that just BEING YOU is something special:
"Your duty is not to be this or that. Your duty is to be."
then, oh my God, does life become so fun 😀
