The Universal Energy of Creation (a.k.a. God, Tao, whatever you wanna call it)…
can’t move through you if you’re stressed out.
If you’re in a “fight or flight” state of feeling in your body…
if your nervous system is triggered and feels uneasy and insecure…
then you can’t create beautiful works from a relaxed place.
Stuck In Familiar Patterns
Many of us stay stuck in the same situations in our lives…
stressful, frustrating, mis-aligned…
because our nervous systems are encoded with habitual patterns of fear-response.
When we are very young… the people that raise us implant an energetic / emotional blueprint within us that conditions our nervous system to feel a certain way…
if the people that raised you (family / friends / teachers) … were always in a survival state:
– worried about “not enough”
– afraid of “bad things” happening
– angry, frustrated with Life
– not feeling safe and supported by a Higher Power or by their environment
then that energy gets subconsciously absorbed by YOU…
and now you started habitually feeling and embodying these lower *states* of consciousness and being…
(notice how the word “familiar” is related to “family”)
Constant stress, worry, complaining, shame, and fear are survival stateemotions…
they’re not necessarily “bad” (per se) …
but when you are chronically stuck in lower vibrations
(below 200 on this vibrational scale)

then it’s going to be very difficult for you to create beautiful things that are representative of your deepest soul and your unique authentic gifts that are insanely beautiful, spontaneous, natural, and easy for you to make (that also provide massive benefit to the world)
Learning To Relax
When you’re chronically stuck in these lower vibrations…
that means that you literally have unprocessed emotions that are stuck in your nervous system…
It’s okay…
I’ll share with you some powerful ways to work on relaxing your body and mind… so that you can deeply surrender and create form a place that feels more authentic and joyful:
(keep in mind, your state of being is what is broadcasting your frequency out to other people… and to reality itself… then, other people and reality with mirroryour frequency… that’s why learning to relax is so important…)

Find a place where you feel safe and secure…
it could be outside, in nature, or in your house.
And simply feel what’s inside you…
you don’t have to change or manipulate the feelings… or “make them go away”
just let them be.
"If you want to shrink something, you must first allow it to expand."

So, just be with what’s there…
body feelings, emotions, thoughts, cravings, just let them be…
you don’t have to sit in a particularly strict or rigid way… just follow what feels good and natural for your body.
*ahhhh*
no pressure, man.
you’re good.
there’s no “wrong way” to be.
just melt into that…
you’re okay.
you’re safe.
you’re supported.
you have a wellspring of peace and joy already within you…
just for the time being…
let go of all concerns, worries, and fears…
if they come up…
let them.

relax into truth…
relax into being…
2. Prayer / Setting Intentions
So, now that you’re present with yourself… not forcing or manipulating too hard… letting things arise and pass as they want to …
sometimes, it feels nice to use your mind / voice to pray and set intentions for what you want…
I like to put my hands over my heart in a prayer position
(this is a mudra that brings balance and harmony to both sides of the body… try it now, if you want)
and gently point my attention towards what I aspire towards… what I want to become.. what I would like to be…
examples:
“May I be peaceful, joyful, and fully present.”
“May my peaceful being be healing for myself, and for all others that I come across.”
“May loving awareness arise within me where it has not yet arisen… and where it has arisen, may it never diminish, but increase further and further.”
“I am free and safe to relax in all moments.”
“I am okay.”
There are many beautiful prayers that I like to use… some of them come from Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Taoism… and many of them I just make up myself for whatever feels right in that moment.
The point of prayer is to use the mind and the voice to cultivate a peaceful and harmonious state of being…
think of it like playing a gentle instrumental freestyle…
there’s no “wrong notes”
the right notes are the ones that feel good in that moment… the “notes” that bring you peace, relaxation, joy, and other wholesome states… are the “right” notes.
“May all sentient beings experience the deep well of peace that is their natural being.”
“May they realize their truth, and be grounded in it, and may they bring deep healing through authenticity, and love for all beings that they come into contact with.”
(Note: we are always in contact with the entire universe at all times… so, your state of being can be healing for all sentient beings even if there is nobody else around)
“May I be peaceful, loving, and joyful. As I am, so, may all sentient beings be peaceful, loving, and joyful.”
You can really riff on and on with this stuff…

3. Visualization
We can also deepen the sense of peace and relaxation through visualization.
Visualization is essentially about using your imagination to create a wholesome state or scenario that makes you feel ultimately peaceful or relaxed.
There really isn’t a right or wrong way to visualize…
the point is that you should feel your state becoming more wholesome and peaceful as you do it…
some examples:
- visualization of the “wish fulfilled”
take something that you want… and feel like you already have it… this can create a very peaceful and joyful state in your being because now you’re a lot less needy and a lot more safe and secure …
you can do this with a loving relationship, a certain amount of money, a beautiful house or living situation, a type of body-state, etc.
- visualization of a beautiful scenario
sometimes, in mystical traditions, they have intricate visualizations of beautiful scenarios… such as prostrating to the awakened masters…light-energy moving out of the heart of an awakened deity and entering into the crown of your head… healing your entire body along with the bodies of all sentient beings…
- visualization of an enlightened deity
sometimes these traditions will have you intricately visualize a significant figure… like Mother Mary in Christianity… and you focus your mind on her enlightened qualities… her boundless compassion and mercy… her unconditional love… her healing presence… etc.
you worship these qualities with all of your soul and your being… in a state of deep reverence and gratitude… that eventually your consciousness merges as one with the deity of worship.
it doesn’t really matter which deity you choose… as long as your heart feels called to it… and they are a symbol of ultimately compassion and awakening (for you)… this deity should represent the highest potential of existence… literally a physical manifestation of boundless love and pure white light
oftentimes, (like in Tibetan Buddhism) these deities are clothed in the finest silk garments… embroidered in gold… wearing beautiful jewelry like necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and jewelled crowns. They are often holding flowers or rosary beads, or their hands are positioned in a mudra of supreme giving or inward reflection… they are smiling down at you and at all sentient beings with a smile of unconditional love and compassion… with all-seeing eyes of complete understanding and knowledge. Light moves out of their hearts and goes out to save those suffering beings who need it most… healing them and returning them to their natural goodness.
Eventually, with enough reverence, love, and focus, you become one with this imagined deity (who you realize is nothing more than a projection of your own wonderful Mind)
The point is not to worship something outside yourself… the point is to use your imagination to worship these beautiful qualities of your own Mind.
4. Relaxing Music
There’s a lot of great music out there on YouTube that can help you to create a wholesome state of being…
search something like: “relaxing hz frequencies” and you’ll see a beautiful ocean of free, high-quality music pieces that are designed to help relax your nervous system.
5. Time In Nature
The sounds and sights of nature are naturally relaxing and healing for your nervous system.
Water trickling… birds chirping… crickets buzzing… frogs yelping… leaves blowing…
and also the beautiful shapes and patterns of the leaves, the insects, the flowers…
the beautiful smells of pine… of wood…
all of these things are naturally relaxing to your nervous system… and can help you to return to your natural wholesome state of being.
So, I think that this is a pretty good place to start for most of you…
I haven’t even touched on some of the other mindsets and psychological frameworks that you can use to gain a deeper sense of peace and relaxation in your life by surrendering to a Higher Power…
trusting that everything always works out best-case scenario.
I didn’t even mention following your Highest Excitement in each moment… and allowing that Golden Thread to carry you to progressively higher and higher states of peace and relaxation.
What I want you to realize deep in your being is that:
Your state of being is what determines the results that you get in your reality.
If your nervous system is constantly triggered… and in “fight or flight” …
then you’re going to be perpetually creating chaos in your external reality… without even realizing it.
But when you gradually re-train your nervous system to be aligned and to be peaceful and secure…
then you can begin taking action and creating your life from a place of loving overflow …
rather from a place of need, worry, and lack.
